A. We convert VHS, VHS-C, MiniDV tapes. Let us know if you have others and we will consider these.
Q. What file format do we convert video tapes to?
A. We convert video tapes into .MP4 file format. This format can be played on Windows, Apple and most Smart TV's and DVD players.
Q. How do I get my video tapes to you?
A. You can drop your video tapes to us at our premises, send them by post (we recommend registered post) or via parcel motel. You need to Submit Order online or complete it at drop off which includes your contact details, number of tapes and your agreement of our Terms and Conditions.
Q. How will I receive my converted files?
A. We give customers the following choices, receive it on a USB memory key or download it from a secure link.
Q. Will i get my old tapes back?
A. We can post your original tapes back by registered post or they can be collected.
Q. How much will it cost?
A. We charge per tape which includes media and postage cost. If the tape is blank, there is no charge. See price table below.

A. No, the quality of the final file will only be as good as the original video. We make sure our conversion equipment is cleaned, serviced and of good working condition to ensure the best possible quality.
Q. Will you convert copyright material?
A. Videos may be subject to copyright or copying restrictions. Please ensure you have the permission of the copyright holder to copy, duplicate, scan and/or redistribute their material. The onus is on you, the client, to ensure that all materials provided for copying, duplication or replication are free from copyright restrictions, or you have the permission of the copyright holder. McGahern Consulting accepts no responsibility or liability if copyright is breached and place the onus firmly with the client to have been responsible and thorough in their research. McGahern Consulting Ltd reserve the right to refuse service without explanation.
